First unofficial day of nursery school

Today was Karli's meet and greet at Havel elementary in Sterling Heights, for her nursery school class. The above pic is Karli and her teacher Mrs. Sharon. Karli gave Mrs. Sharon 3 hugs and 1 kiss on the cheek, that's more than I get in a day! Tomorrow is her 1st official day where mommy has to leave her. Thanks to grandma Carmen for taking Karli to class on Tuesdays. I hope she'll do fine she does have Reagan in her class too, so at least they'll have each other!

It's never too early to start potty training

I had to put Cameron on the toilet while running a bath. As you know being naked, running water, and children is not a good combo.

Crazy driver

We finally bought Karli a new battery for her Barbie Jeep......and she's off!

Soccer Open House

This morning I took Karli and Cameron to Joe Dumars Frieldhouse for their Lil' Kickers Soccer Open House. The kids had a wonderful time! Karli is so excited to play soccer. Karli is in the 3-4 year old beginners group called Hoppers. This is the description of the class: "3 and 4 year-olds get fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, dribbling, scoring, and balance. The classes will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. They will not play any competitive soccer games."

I think this will be great for Karli, hopefully she won't cry if someone tries to take the ball from her! The open house had snacks, juice, hot dogs, a bouncy, and someone dressed in a bunny costume (Which Cameron was terrified of....Santa and the Easter Bunny should be fun!).

Fresh grilled corn on the cob-Yummo!

Labor Day-Drag Strip

Well.....we went to the drag strip today in Lapeer. I think this will be my last time as I now think I'm a Jinx. One run, something didn't seem right. The car ran 12's and come to find out they collapsed a lifter. At least I took some cute photos and a video. You may need to turn the vol down on your speakers, it's loud!

Labor Day Weekend-Sunday

We started out our Sunday at Debbie Castor's Family Reunion at Dodge Park. We ate yummy Lebanese food such as stuffed grape leaves with yogurt sauce, raw and cooked kibbie with pita bread. Julie and my dad aren't fans of the food, but Jay, Chris, and I love it. We had a good time visiting with everyone and the kids had fun activities and play time.

Then.....we went to my mom's house to celebrate my grandpa's 92 birthday. Check out Aftermath Blog for a slide show. Click here. I know I've been slacking in the camera department.
