Cousins we will always be, special friends from the same family tree.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Greg and Tracy's house. I was able to capture a picture of the kids standing still in one place. I'm amazed how much time flies....Natalie is 7 and Sam is 4. Karli only cried a few times while playing with her cousins and all the neighborhood kids. She is improving a little with her sensitivity. We are going to the Cider Mill later today with more pictures to come!

Dance or Gymnastics?

Here is Karli at her second dance class. She is the second one from the left. Last night the kids took turns jumping on a trampoline and walking on a balance beam. The little girl all the way to the right, looks like you would see her in an 80's workout video, leg warmers and all. How cute! Karli did very well waiting for her turn and listening to directions!

Tigers Game

Last night I had a work outing to a Tiger's game. Chris and I had a good time even though there was an hour and 18 minute rain delay. The tigers resumed playing about 9:30. They had a couple of good innings and then it started to rain again, so we left about 10:15. We sat in right field under the upper deck, so we stayed dry :)!!! The Tigers did win their last home game 9-4 after 5 innings.

Brayden's baptism

Yesterday we celebrated Brayden's baptism.....I forgot to take my camera, so Cara if you e-mail me some pictures I'll post them. Church was an experience. Usually Cameron is the angel, but yesterday he wanted to talk LOUDLY throughout the service. So I had to hold him in the lobby for 1 hour, my arms are sore today! Chris was left to amuse Karli, we did not see them come out to the lobby, but he did say she was a handful!
We went to Cara and Jay's house after the service for lunch. Karli and Evan played very nicely together. This picture to the right shows how Cameron is now sitting up all by himself very well.

Warm weather don't leave!

Summer is almost over, and these nice days I'm sure will end very soon! Yesterday we played outside for a while. We usually have to wait until the sun is almost gone to play on the swing set though, until the wasps (or what I think are wasps) go home! But last night I had Cameron in his swing and one wasp flew out of it. So we ripped Cameron out of the swing only to find 4 wasps still underneath. No nest just chillin' out. We bought a trap, but they laugh at it, it catches every bug except wasps. Any ideas?

Tonight was Karli's first dance class. Thanks to Renee' for telling us about this class we were able to register. Karli likes having Peyton in her dance class. She did really well. Mommy left the room and she didn't even look for me. She can't wait to go back next week. Check out this link below for more pictures.

Princess Karli

Does this outfit look good for dance class? Tomorrow Karli will be joining Peyton in dance class. I will try to remember to take my camera! Really, this is not what she will be wearing!

Grandma Kathy told me Karli was playing with her babies last night at 2 a.m. (that's another story) and told grandma "as soon as I get my baby situated you can hold her." I can't believe her vocabulary and that she uses these big words in the right context.

Cameron is now rolling over both ways and is babbling all kinds of vowel sounds. He has moved on to squash and carrots as well, let me tell you this boy likes his food! I weighed myself then weighed him and I think he is about 22 pounds now!!! Only 8 pounds lighter than Karli!

Cameron and Emily sitting in a tree......

Rich, Julie, and Cameron's girlfriend Emily came over last night. Emily was born 5-31 and Cameron was born 4-5. This picture is so funny because as you can see Cameron is looking at his mommy and Emily is looking at hers. They never let mom out of sight do they? We had pizza and played Euchre. As usual Julie and I beat Rich and Chris 3 games to zero.

Cameron is on the move! He doesn't stay still anymore. He rolls from the fireplace all the way to the hardwood floor...and he can only roll one way. So when he gets to the hardwood floor he cries. He loves food! Big surprise, right. He has tried his first vegetable, sweet potatoes, and of course loves them!

Sunday School

Yesterday Karli went to Sunday School...which was really a bunch of kids playing in the nursery. I guess you have to be 4 years old to have a little structure to Sunday School. But Karli did OK, she cried the last 5 minutes and told the lady she wanted her mommy :( They said she was there just 5 minutes too long.

It's like riding a bike...

Today mommy got on a bike for the first time in a very long time. And this time she was pulling two children behind her. Greg and Tracy gave us this bike trailer that Natalie and Sam grew out of, and we loved it! Mommy liked the exercise too! What a beautiful day it was for a bike ride!
Then we went to Uncle Jim and Aunt Suzy's for some Thai food...Yummmm! Business opportunity.......Does someone want to open a Thai restauraunt out by us, there aren't any :(
Today is the first day of Sunday school...we'll see how it goes.

Puzzle

Karli has always been pretty good at puzzles. Although, yesterday she surprised me when she completed this large puzzle just by looking at the box with no help. It's actually 2 puzzles in one. You have to put the puzzle pieces together and then the animals inside the puzzle pieces.

On Labor Day we went to my dad's house for a BBQ. Jason, Eric, Amy, Alyssa, Elina, Debbie's mom and aunt were all there to visit. Here is a picture of Karli fishing in the Jacuzzi with Elina.

Papa's 91st birthday party

Yesterday we gathered to celebrate Papa's 91st birthday. Uncle Al, Aunt Jo, Renee', Peyton, Uncle Brian, Carolyn, Jason, Chris, Karli, Cameron, and I all went to my mom's house for a celebration. Peyton and Karli were quite entertaining. Karli was having a bad day, and was VERY sensitive, and kept crying a lot! Peyton kept asking what's wrong with Karli NOW?Click on this link to view more photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/12191314@N06/.

Happy 91st birthday grandpa!!!!

The last bird finally left the nest

Yesterday, we helped Jay move some things into his new house. He purchased a house near 23 mile and Heidenreich, in Macomb Township. What a beautiful house! I'm jealous of the finished landscaping, stamped concrete patio, freshly painted walls, blinds....etc. Completed and ready to move in, nothing to do, except fill with furniture. Congratulations Jay!
