More Snow

Cameron watched out the window as dad took care of the snow and Karli played. Then they decided to make a snowman. Of course dad had to make the snowman near perfect because he knew all of the neighbors would see it as they drove by.

What's new?

Not much going on today, it's a day of relaxation for mommy for a stressful few days at work. Which is why I'm up at 6:00 am writing this blog. I can't sleep from stress, I hate when that happens. It's not Cameron keeping me awake this time. Grocery shopping and dance class are in our plans today.
Karli can now spell her first and last name and is learning addition and subtraction. Who needs preschool?........... Me!
Cameron my sweet boy, has a new runny nose this week, nothing else, just snots. However, he is a bottomless pit, that boy can eat! The other day for dinner he had a slice of cheese, cheerios, then the dinner I made, plus 2 cups of applesauce. He cried when that was all gone, so I made him baby cereal and applesauce, I think he would have kept eating, but instead I bribed him with a bath and he was happy.

we have learned how to climb!

Yes, Cameron used his chair to climb on the couch and play with Karli's computer. Mommy was nervous but he played up there for about 5 minutes.
We had a fun Sunday, we all went shopping together for house stuff and went out to dinner. Cameron was sooooo good, Karli was close to a time out in the store, but it never came to that.

Play date

This Saturday before we went to Suzy's house. Chris' friend Alex brought his 3 kids over to play with Karli and Cameron. In the picture the 2 kids are Nick (3 1/2)and Reese (21 months). Lexie (8 i think) was not in the picture. Karli had a good time playing with them. The last time I saw the kids Nick was a few months old and I was due any day with Karli.

Thanksgiving in February

Our friend Suzy hosted Thanksgiving in Feb. She went all out! I don't know how she did it, I never could. She planned dinner for about 13 adults and 9 kids were in attendance. She went to Peacock poultry to get the 20 pound turkey (an Amish farm) and it was wonderful. We had all the fixins....mashed potatoes, salad, green bean casserole, rolls, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, cranberries, sweet potatoes (almost anyway long story) and pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and bread pudding for desert too! Way to go Suzy!!!! I forgot my camera and so did everyone else, so no pics.

This week

Not much exciting going on here. The kids are finally feeling much better! Although I think Cameron's molars are staring to bother him as he is not sleeping well! He was up crying for 2 hours on Tuesday night. Tues and Wed I worked, and it was just lovely and crazy as usual. Thursday is a day of rest until dance class. Friday I'm doing school presentations and the kids will be at grandma Debbie's. Saturday we are having Thanksgiving in February at Suzy's house. And that about sums up the week.

Sunday

This morning Chris went to hockey in the very icy weather! This afternoon we got a call that Chris' dad slipped on the porch and broke his arm.

Cameron fell today and has a nice egg on his forehead, poor baby.

Yesterday we celebrated Peyton's 3rd birthday, Karli had a good time playing with her!

Natalie sent a big bag of dress up clothes for Karli to play with, here she is trying out the wizard outfit.

Happy birthday to Sam and Peyton!

Today we went to Pump it Up for Sam's 5th birthday party. Karli went down the slide all by herself. This was a HUGE accomplishment for her! She has been scared of those tall slides for a long time. After she came down she said "that wasn't so bad!" Tomorrow we will be celebrating Peyton's 3rd Birthday at Uncle Al and Aunt Jo's house.
As you can see, Karli and Cameron are feeling a lot better! No more fevers at least! Mom is the only one that hasn't got sick yet.....I know it's coming, it's inevitable!

Karli's turn

Well Karli has the lovely cold now! Cameron just has a lingering cough and snotty nose but no more fever. Poor Karli, hopefully she just has the fever for 2 days like Cameron did.

Perfect Angel

This is a picture of Karli when she was 1 year old. As you can see she sat very nice and played with her chair, now go to the next post.............................

Monkey Boy

Cameron is all boy, as you can see he doesn't like to sit in it very long. This is why he has so many bruises! (spell check not working for me either Renee')
Cameron slept through the night last night for the first time since he was 4 months old. It was probably because he is sick. For the last 2 days he has had a fever on and off, snotty nose and horrible cough that makes him cry! Sounds like there is something going around from what I have been reading in all the blogs.
Last night I went to Leanne's surprise 3oth birthday party. It was at the FOP hall on 14 mile in Sterling Heights. She had a DJ and Karaoke, right up her alley!

Cameron does not look very comfortable being pulled in this wagon. I don't think he was, because it didn't last very long. Although he is feeling a little under the weather. I think he got a cold from his daddy, coughing and runny nose. Mommy's going scrapbooking tonight. Good luck daddy! Cameron spent most of the day crawling around crabbin' and crying. Click on the picture to enlarge it and get a view of Cameron's face, priceless!

Still smiling......even after he got his first black eye from sissy. It was an accident, and no she won't admit to it, even though mom saw it happen.

Karli was playing in the laundry basket and needless to say, she has crazy hair like her mom.

Leanne, The big 30

Happy Birthday

The word NO

Cameron now totally understands the word NO! Although he doesn't always obey it. When we tell him No he looks at us, smiles, and then does it anyway! Sound familiar anyone? Especially at grandma Kathy's house on the stairs, he makes a game out of it. He looks at us, smiles and heads straight for the stairs. When we get up to get him he puts the gear in turbo and crawls as fast as he can, while cracking himself up. He thinks it is the funniest thing in the world. He can now climb all grandmas steps. He will either start throwing a fit because I took him off the stairs or head right back in his turbo crawl, laughing away!

Game night #2

Chris and I went to our 2nd game night with our neighbors. The host started at 7:00 this time, because those late nights were killing them. It didn't do much good because everyone still left at 4:00am. This time we played the newlywed game, which was pretty fun! We played Taboo, LCR, and screw your neighbor (no pun intended) as well. I'm too old for these late nights, time to go get the kids!

dance fund raiser

If anyone is interested please let me know. Everything is $8.00 and I will be turning in the order on Feb 21. Karli will be in a mermaid costume and dancing to "Under the sea" at her recital in June. They are dancing to a pop version that is a little different than the one from The Little Mermaid.
