Despite the warm temperatures and the thunderstorms, the block party was a hit. We all played cards in the tent outside as it stormed most of the night. The kids played in the water slide, bounce house, and all Bob and Terri's toys. The adults played Bocce ball, clock weights, and Texas hold'em. It was a good time. Thanks to Bob and Terri we put our kids to bed in their home. I lasted only until 12:30 after losing all my $ in cards and I have no idea what time Chris made it home.

I cleaned Karli's teeth last week and I found 2 cavities on her molars. I sealed the 2 that didn't have cavities! I know this isn't supposed to happen to a hygienists' daughter, but it was out of my control. She had them filled yesterday and she did wonderful. I'm grateful they weren't deep enough for her to need a local anesthetic! She said has fun at the dentist and wants to go back. I guess that's all I can ask for.

Pella Picnic

As you will see I forgot my camera this weekend.

We went to Chris' company picnic yesterday at Lake Erie Metropark. It was a warm day. Perfect for a wave pool! Cameron loved it of course and Karli wanted no more when a wave went over hers and daddy's head.





Here is a picture from last week when Chris and I were obviously not sleeping in our bed, but our kids were.

Drag Strip/Steve and Katie's

Saturday we spent the afternoon at the drag strip instead of the dream cruise. The dream cruise became not so fun for Chris and a lot of work. So instead, him and his dad decided to go to the drag strip where they could actually drive his car, or so they thought. Chris ran his fastest time in the car, I think 11.77 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately that was the only time he ran. The second time they backed him out because he was leaking oil. They fixed that...then the 3rd time he ran and something broke, he thinks in the ignition. Back to the garage they go.......


That evening we went to our friends Steve and Katie's house for pizza and visiting with our friends. It is always nice to see everyone and have our kids play together.

Fun weekend

Friday we went to movie under the stars in Macomb Township to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was a great time....see Cervone centinel for more......

Saturday we went to Anthony's 5th birthday party and then to Jill's summer bash. Because of the rain both parties mostly ended up inside, but we all managed to have a good time!

Today we are going to the Shelby Art Fair with the Tremblay's and the Felosak's, while our hubby's are out playing golf. Maybe I'll remember my camera this time! Here is just a random recent photo of Cam The Man.
