Caught red handed

It was pretty quiet except I heard some crinkly wrappers. I turned the corner and this is what I found....Cameron eating Froot Loops. He can now reach the knob on the pantry and likes to help himself to whatever he can find. Do they make locks for these types of doors? I must find out! I think Grandma Kathy has a similar picture except he was double fisted with chocolate chip cookies in hers. BTW, yes those are reindeer on his PJ's. He wore them last year and must be shrinking because they still fit.

Are they coming here yet, mom?

For those of you that don't know, Karli is obsessed with The Backyardigans. Tyrone, Uniqua, Austin, Pablo, and Tasha have all become members of our everyday life in some way. It has been many months that Karli has been watching the commercials on Noggin and/or Nick Jr. promoting Backyardigans Live "Tale of the Mighty nights." She continually asked me....Are they coming here yet, mom? I finally got tickets to see the show and today we went downtown to the Masonic Temple. Karli had such a wonderful time. Grandma Carmen and Grandma Kathy went as well. It was fun to see Karli's face light up, and a few times she thought they were talking to her, like she was the only one there.

Blake's Big Apple Orchard

Today Karli, myself, Chris, and Cameron all went on Karli's school field trip to Blake's. It was a little chilly but the sun did come out. The kids had a great time. We went on a hayride, picked apples, picked pumpkins, had cider and donuts, went to the petting farm and played too. Here is a slide show of our fun day.

Hunter's Widow Weekend

While Chris is away hunting for the weekend, we've managed to stay pretty busy so that we don't miss him too much. Friday I worked and we played outside due to the nice weather. Today I attended Tyson and Julie's wedding shower at Carrabba's Italian Grill, which was very nice. Thank you to Uncle Jay and Grandpa for taking the kids to soccer and watching them for me! Here is a cute picture of the kids playing their computer games.
