It could be love....
Fun weekend
Friday we went to movie under the stars in Macomb Township to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks. It was a great time....see Cervone centinel for more......
Saturday we went to Anthony's 5th birthday party and then to Jill's summer bash. Because of the rain both parties mostly ended up inside, but we all managed to have a good time!
Today we are going to the Shelby Art Fair with the Tremblay's and the Felosak's, while our hubby's are out playing golf. Maybe I'll remember my camera this time! Here is just a random recent photo of Cam The Man.

6 years!
This weekend Chris and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary! Chris and I started dating the summer of 1996. It doesn't seem like we have been together over 12 years now! A lot has happened in 6 years! We celebrated by hanging out with the kids all day relaxing...just what we wanted!

Saturday
Lapeer Drag Strip 8/2/08
Today we made our way to the to watch daddy race. The kids did very well. Karli left her ear muffs on all day, Cameron could care less about the noise! Two totally different children! The car has been running good and the weather was perfect.
Then we went to the Sterling Fest with the rest of the world to see Reo Speedwagon. We met up with Jay and Julie and their friends. We walked home from Dodge Park because the line for the shuttle buses and traffic was horrible. In all the years I lived on 16 and Dodge, I've never walked to or from Dodge Park, it really wasn't a bad walk at all!

Enjoying the nice hot weather
Well the blow up slide broke on our Typhoon Lagoon, but the plastic slide works well too, especially for Cameron! I think I have future pro basketball players on my hand. This is what we did on Thursday.
Friday we had a play date with Anthony and swam in their pool. Karli could barely touch, but she was excited she didn't have to wear her life jacket!
Today we are going to watch daddy race his car and then to Sterling Fest with Grandma. Have a good weekend!

Monday
Toledo Zoo 7/28/08
Please click on the link above to view the slide show.
We made our way to the Toledo Zoo on Monday. It took about an hour and 45 minutes with the detours in downtown Detroit. We didn't get lost, but we did have to travel on I-696, I-75, the Davison, the Lodge, I-94, I-275....I think there is only one express way we didn't travel (I-96). It was a nice ride and a lovely time! The zoo was very nice. The animals were active even in the heat. Our favorite part was the Gorillas and the Orangutans. I've never been that close to a gorilla before, they were literally on the other side of the glass staring at us. The only animals we didn't see were the Lions. They weren't out. The kids and grandpa were great. No whining and all 3 passed out in the car on the way home.
