We have been talking about a new puppy for a while. The deal was when Karli slept in her own bed for a month straight she could have a puppy. She has been doing that for over a month now! Today we went to pick out our new puppy. He is an 8 week old Golden retriever and as sweet as can be! We named him Cabo (after Chris' Cabo Tequila/Sammy Hagar obsession). We told Karli he already had a name (dad was set on this name) so she gave him the middle name Max.
Below is a slide show from our trip to Cozumel. We had a great time! We snorkeled and saw lots of interesting and beautiful things! We rented a convertible VW to explore the east side of the island. The island was 35 miles round trip, so it didn't take very long to get around. Many of the pictures are views from our hotel or the beaches. I haven't developed my under water camera pictures yet, but if they turn out, I'll try to scan some pictures in of the coral, sea turtles, fish etc. I know we weren't in Jamaica, but I like Bob Marley.
After we picked Karli up from school today, we came home to have lunch. All of a sudden Cameron made an unpleasant sound and I looked over and he was choking! I screamed for Chris and told him what was happeening. I couldn't get those high chair straps off him fast enough. I flipped him over on my knee, one back blow, and out flew a chunk of pineapple. I was in tears, Karli was in tears because she was scared with all of the commotion, but thankfully everything was OK. I told Chris it was a good thing he was home because I felt like I panicked. He made a good point....I did what I was supposed to do. I guess all that health training pays off. I never thought I would be giving my children back blows! Yes, Cameron is doing fine!
Pictures to come in a few days! We left hot sunny 80 degree Cozumel weather to come back to freezing temps, yuck! But we sure missed the kids! Below is a view from the top of our resort. 
Today was Cameron's 2nd time going #2 on the potty! Yea, Cameron! We'll keep working on it. This is definitely harder than Karli was to toilet train.
Karli got roller skates for Christmas from Grandma Carmen and she's been practicing in the house. When she first started, it had me laughing out loud....but she's getting much better. I think she's practicing for outside this summer.
