We stopped by my dad's house yesterday and the kids were able to meet his new kitten SoCo. Once SoCo decided to stop hiding from Cameron, who was running around screaming, he finally came out. The kids had a lot of fun playing with him. Karli talked about it the whole day.

Graduation party
Yesterday we went to Tony Roncelli's graduation party. Kim and I used to babysit Gino, Tony, and Vinnie when they were infants until they were about Karli and Cameron's ages. I think it has been about 15 or 16 years since I have seen them. Their property has changes so much since we used to go spend the weekends there. What handsome boys they have grown up to be! Although it made me feel old, it was really nice reminiscing on old times with Kim yesterday. Here are a few pictures of the evening. I have to say I've never been to a graduation party quite like this before. They had Valet parking, a band, a Nino Salvaggio's fruit stand, corn on the cob stand, popcorn, a mechanical bull, National Coney Island hot dog stand, delicious food catered from Papa Jo's, and a train from Blake's Orchard that took rides around the property.

Little mommy

This morning Karli was up before Cameron, which is pretty rare. Cameron usually comes to find me when he wakes up.......but today I heard his little pitter-pattering feet come down the hall and Karli said to him "You want to come and snuggle?" I peeked my head around the corner and took this picture. She is such a little mommy to him sometimes, I love it.

I'm a skyper!

My friend Suzy introduced me to Skype. I've seen it on Oprah for a while, but it is so cool! You can call people and see them at the same time if you have a web cam, I love it! Plus you can call another "skyper" for free. Plus it's free to sign up too. You all know how I like free things! Uncle Wayne you should get a web cam if you don't have one and the kids could talk to you too! It's perfect for those of you that we don't see very often and live long distances. This would be perfect for Auntie Zilda!

Ludington
As you can see from the slide show, we had one really nice day at the sand dunes (Sunday) and then the weather went down hill. Mon-Thurs was just not good at all. Rainy off and on, cold, windy, cloudy. Not good vacation weather! We managed to still go fishing on and off between rain drops and rough waters. We took our annual walk on the pier at the Ludington beach during a rainy mist and went inside the light house. We made our annual stop at the house of flavors which almost went bad when Karli's ice cream fell on the floor. Mommy sacrificed hers and gave it to the teary eyed Karli. Friday the sun started to come out just in time for us to leave and head to Lewiston.
In Lewiston the weather was great sunny and 75, comfortable. In Lewiston we went on many walks in the woods, went to the "5 minute" Lewiston parade, had some ice cream, watched fireworks from the beach, went on ATV rides, and celebrated Greg's birthday.

Using Pedals
Cameron started using his tricycle pedals for the first time yesterday. He finally got the hang of it and now he's off.
